“We have to (re) build and restart: politics cannot jeopardize the RecoveryPlan. Our country is among the main beneficiaries of the resources of the Next Generation EU plan, receiving 28% of the total of 750 billion euros in grants and loans over the next six years. But bureaucracy risks hindering investment and recovery. It takes an average of 15 years to complete a large infrastructure in Italy, and none of the recent emergency laws – to simplify tender rules and procedures administrative – has improved the situation.
