“Enterprise means leadership, competence and the ability to change things, generate jobs and growth. Enterprise means not being afraid to choose, to innovate, to include, with a vision that puts people and merit, vision, at the center. And one that recognizes the value of women as an indispensable force for building the future. In my professional journey, I have learned that doing business today means much more than creating economic value: it means contributing to the construction of a fairer, more sustainable and more open future.

It is with this spirit, and with great emotion, that I welcome the award: a recognition that deeply honors me, because it not only rewards a personal achievement, but also enhances an idea of enterprise in which I strongly believe: an enterprise guided by conscious female leadership, capable of vision and impact.

One must not think about having limitations, and believe that one can overcome any obstacle. And this applies to us entrepreneurs, but especially to us women. My parents told me from the time I was a child that I could do whatever I wanted, achieve whatever I wanted, and that is the life lesson I have always carried with me. I never thought that I could not do something, and that if there were limits, they could be overcome.”

Angelica Donati received the “Minerva Anna Maria Mammoliti Award” for entrepreneurship at the ceremony held at the Capitol in Rome.
