The 25th edition of the ANCE Giovani National Conference came to a close with great participation in the splendid setting of Sorrento. The event, entitled FARO/FARO’, was an opportunity for discussion and inspiration for the new generations in the construction sector, called upon to lead the change towards a more innovative, sustainable, and digital future.
Some insights from the speech by the President of ANCE Giovani, Angelica Krystle Donati:
“As young entrepreneurs, we want to be a beacon and write the future of the construction sector: thinking long term, being inclusive, innovating without fear, promoting sustainability, and having courage.
But a future without new skills simply does not exist, and human capital is the key: in the coming years, over 210,000 new resources will be needed. To attract them, we must make construction more open and inclusive, also promoting female participation.
Then there are young entrepreneurs, who need concrete tools: tax breaks, guarantee funds for access to credit, incentives for proptech startups and green solutions. Even after the PNRR, we need to continue to build, maintain, and regenerate, starting with clear rules that are actually enforced. The new Procurement Code is a step forward, but now we must ensure its effective application and real simplification.
Social housing, student housing, and senior living are the priorities for the sector, while the major challenges are urban regeneration and digital transformation”.
