‘New skills, generational change and sustainable development: we need a long-term vision for the good of the country.
As young entrepreneurs we have a duty to engage and be optimistic. Together we can and want to build a future in which construction is not just a sector, but a system capable of transforming Italy for the better and building the path of change
The construction sector has contributed about one third to GDP growth, but is now slowing down due to the squeeze on the Superbonus and delays on public works. But the prerequisites for reversing the trend exist: the PNRR, the European Structural Funds 2021-2027 and the Development and Cohesion Fund. An additional 150,000 workers with high skills will soon be needed to carry out works related to European decarbonisation policies and the green homes directive. This will only be possible with new resources.
At the XXIII National Convention of Ance Giovani we discussed with the protagonists of institutions, economy and enterprise on strategies and good practices to bring value to the country and contribute to growth”.
