The event in Luxembourg – organized at the Embassy of Italy, in collaboration with the Italian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce – concerned the perspectives on “Smart Cities“. Enterpreneurs of the sector, designers and companies confronted in a roundtable that saw a large participation.

Angelica Donati, Coordinator for the internationalization of ANCE-Giovani spoke about the approach that guides young Italian entrepreneurs who develop innovative, attractive and environmentally sustainable solutions in the construction sector. To the roundtable also partecipated the President of LuxReal, Vincent Bechet, the Technical Director of Cimolai SpA, Pierpaolo Rossetto and the Managing Director of Rizzani de Eccher Lussemburgo S.A., Ascanio Martinotti.

“In Italy we have many entrepreneurs and experts in the construction supply chain who – taking advantage of the new trends in the sector and the opportunities offered by technological innovation – have had the courage and the ability to reinvent themselves and to restart” – underlined Angelica Donati – “We need to create synergies between the actors of the construction supply chain, and with the connected supply chains. It is a decisive element to respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing world. On a theme such as the development of Smart Cities, also in Italy, it is necessary to involve all operators in technological innovation in the sector, developing business opportunities and building strategies to drive change”.

The Italian Design Day in the World is organized in connection with the “Salone del Mobile di Milano” – scheduled to take place in the Lombard capital from 9 to 14 April 2019 – and with the 22nd edition of the Milan Triennale International Exposition, to enhance the role central to Italian creativity as a driving force for international business growth.
